The Selector of the Frontiers Programme, which was established at FEST 2015, is Serbian director Mladen Đorđević. This competitive programme includes subversive arthouse films. This year’s Jury that will decide upon the best film within the Frontiers Selection comprises screenwriter and director Saša Radojević, who is the President of the Jury, journalist and writer Dragan Jovićević and young film director Luka Bursać.
Saša Radojević is a screenwriter and director from Belgrade. He collaborated with Milutin Petrović as a screenwriter for films such as "Land of Truth, Love & Freedom" and "South by Southeast”. The latest film they penned together, "The Loop", had a premiere at last year's FEST. Radojević also worked with Dinko Tucaković on the film “Doctor Ray and the Devils”. His directorial feature debut is the film "Kisses", followed by television film "Narcissus and Echo" as well as two films in 2015 "Marked" and "Family".
Dragan Jovićević is a writer, journalist and film critic, who has been active on the cultural scene of Serbia for many years. He was one of the founders of the Festival of Serbian Fantastic Film in 2006 and at the end of 2014, together with journalist and director of the Festival Jovan Ristić, he published the book “The Lost Worlds of Serbian Fantasy Film". He is the Editor of Culture at NIN weekly magazine and a longtime associate of FEST.
Luka Bursać is a film director born in Belgrade, who graduated from The Faculty of Dramatic Arts. During studies he made several successful films, such as the short feature film "You Look Awesome When I'm Fucked Up" and the medium-length documentary ”Three”. Bursać’s first feature film is “Blackness”, filmed in 2014. His latest film "Afterparty" will have its world premiere within the Serbian Film Programme at this year's FEST.
